The Falmouth Outlook is reporting that Allen, who averaged 5.4 points per contest on 40% shooting from three in 2020-21, will return to Kentucky for his redshirt sophomore season.
“He is definitely returning!” Allen’s mother, April Allen-Thomas, told Sam McClanahan of the Falmouth Outlook. “His plan is to come home and work harder than ever before and return to UK for his sophomore season, and I fully support his decision.”
Allen, who played in 22 games as a redshirt freshman, told reporters following Kentucky’s 74-73 loss in the SEC Tournament last week that he wanted fans to “stay with us” in the future, hinting that a return was on the horizon.
