Kentucky basketball has become a popular destination for big-time transfers in recent years, the latest being Olivier Sarr.
Widely regarded as the top transfer of the 2020 offseason, Sarr committed to Kentucky in May following a productive three-year career at Wake Forest. He’s coming off a breakout 2019-20 season where he averaged 13.7 points, 9.0 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. He shot 52.7% from the floor, made the All-ACC Third Team, was a two-time ACC Player of the Week, and was the runner-up for the 2020 ACC Most Improved Player award.
So yeah, getting Sarr was a pretty big deal for Kentucky, and fellow Wildcat Brandon Boston agrees.
