How does a trip to Albany, NY sound?
In his latest Bracketology released this morning, ESPN’s Joe Lunardi dropped Kentucky to a five seed in the East region. In Albany, the Wildcats would take on 12-seed Yale in the first round, followed by a matchup with either four-seed Villanova or 13-seed North Texas in the Round of 32.
Should the Wildcats take home back-to-back wins to open the tournament, they would then likely take on one-seed Gonzaga in the Sweet Sixteen if the seeding holds in Spokane. Ohio State and Texas Tech, two previous Kentucky foes, also serve as the eight and nine seeds in the region, respectively.
