Box score, MVP & updated season stats following Kentucky’s loss to Alabama

The Kentucky Wildcats began SEC play today in Tuscaloosa against the Alabama Crimson Tide, and the home team certainly came to play. The Wildcats have started conference play 0-1 after a 77-75 loss.

Bama shot the lights out in the first half behind the hot hand of Tevin Mack, who shot 6/6 from behind the three-point line. Despite leading by two at the break, the Wildcats trailed for the majority of the second half. Even though the Tide cooled down, Kentucky went completely cold and often looked lost on offense, shooting just 37% from the floor in the second period.
