The Kentucky Wildcats dropped a brutal game on the road to the South Carolina Gamecocks, falling 17-14. After a disastrous start, Kentucky took control for the second and third quarters, taking a 14-10 lead, but then allowed a long South Carolina drive that was eventually the kill shot as they took a 17-14 lead and ultimately the win.
The nail in the coffin was a strip fumble/interception on Leary late in the game, with Kentucky looking to score.
It was a very, very disappointing performance from the team, looking as if none of the prior issues had been worked on or addressed.
