It's a familiar story: A household torn apart by rivalry, decades of well-worn hatred fueled by affronts on the basketball court, a tale nearly as old as time and certainly as old as Christen Cunningham — but one he never thought he'd be a part of.
Cunningham, Louisville basketball's graduate transfer point guard, grew up in Georgetown, Kentucky, 16 miles northwest of Lexington. He watched and rooted for both the Cats and the Cards, an act of blasphemy for some residents in the hometown Cunningham described as "predominantly blue.
