Ben Hill Griffin Stadium was built in a hole. In previous years, buses parked near the gates where fans enter, then walked down to the locker rooms in the bowels of the stadium to prepare for the matchup against Florida. COVID-19 changed the route for visiting teams. The buses now drive down into the stadium, bypassing fans and preventing family members from getting up close and personal to greet the players.
