Billy Preston’s mysterious car has taken him to Bosnia.
The former five-star McDonald’s All-American power forward never played a minute for the Kansas Jayhawks. Suspended at the start of the season for missing curfew and class, just before tip-off against Kentucky in the Champions Classic, Bill Self released an odd statement.
The administration never found a clear enough financial picture for Preston to play at Kansas. The Jayhawks’ top-ranked recruit signed to play with BC Igokea in Bosnia.
Preston joins a long list of highly-touted Jayhawks — Josh Selby, Cliff Alexander, Carlton Bragg and more — that failed to meet expectations.
