Over the weekend, Kentucky offensive coordinator Eddie Gran said UK’s offense played like it had been into “bad Kool-Aid.” This time, the Wildcats turned in a fresher performance.
Gran said Tuesday’s practice showed significant improvements. His first words this time: “Better Kool-Aid.”
“It was really better on both sides in terms of the competition,” Gran said. “That’s when you know you’re getting better.”
It’s a different tone from Saturday’s scrimmage. On that occasion, Gran ripped the offense’s lackluster performance, terming it an “absolute joke.”
He attributed much of the problem to overconfidence.
