Benny Snell’s Record-Setting Day

Tonight Snell cemented himself into the Kentucky record books.

In Benny’s third consecutive 100+ rushing yard game (116 yards on 17 carries), he became the first Kentucky running back to ever rush for more than 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons. Snell scored three touchdowns at Vanderbilt. He now has 27 career rushing touchdowns, the most in school history.

“It means a lot,” Snell said after the game. “I’ve put in so much work and it just feels like it’s finally all coming together. I’m very happy. I have an outstanding o-line and tight ends. I owe it all to them.
