Benny Snell, Jr. felt he had been snubbed coming into the 2017 season.
After rushing for over 1,000 yards and 13 scores as a true freshman, Snell was named to the third-team All-SEC team at the start of his sophomore season. He cited that snub as motivation for the 2017 campaign.
Well, he has been snubbed no more. Snell led the SEC in 2017 with 1,318 yards and 18 touchdowns. Over the course of last season, he became the first Wildcat rusher to have back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons and he moved into the first spot for career rushing touchdowns with 32.
