It wasn’t the prettiest game, especially on offense, as the Wildcat could only muster up a 17-3 lead going into halftime. They’ll need to work out the kinks and find more of an offensive rhythm next week against the Mississippi St. Bulldogs, who have one of the nation’s best front sevens.
After all, the Bulldogs dominated Kentucky last year in Starkville, 45-7.
After Saturday’s game during the postgame press conference, several Kentucky players gave their thoughts on the game, including one Benny Snell. The junior running back had a solid outing against Murray State, going for 75 yards and a score on 15 carries.
