Former Kentucky Wildcats star Benny Snell has been waiting for his chance to prove what he can do, and now he will have an opportunity.
Snell hasn’t seen the field much this season at running back, as he has been behind James Conner and Jaylen Samuels.
On the year, Snell has carried the ball just six times and gained 30 yards while averaging 5.0 yards per carry.
Head coach Mike Tomlin announced today that Samuels had his knee scoped and is going to be out for about a month.
