Benny Snell breaks Kentucky career rushing record in Citrus Bowl

ORLANDO, Fla. - Benny Snell is closing his Kentucky football career on top.

With a 12-yard touchdown carry in the third quarter of the Citrus Bowl, Snell moved into first place on Kentucky’s career rushing yards list, passing former Wildcat Sonny Collins (3,835) for the record. Snell, who needed 107 yards to break the record entering the game, also logged his 19th career 100-yard rushing game, breaking a tie with Collins for most in program history.
