LEXINGTON, Ky. – The hospital is not where football players are supposed to spend the morning of the season opener.
But a viral infection requiring intravenous fluids Saturday morning was not enough to derail Benny Snell and the Kentucky football run game.
“Sick doesn’t matter,” Snell said after a 35-20 win over Central Michigan. “It doesn’t matter if I’m sick or I’m injured, Benny Snell is going to play Benny Snell football.
