Ben Jordan is no longer a part of the Kentucky basketball program and will return to baseball exclusively next season.
According to a report by 247Sports – and confirmed by UK Athletics – Jordan has decided to return to baseball on a full-time basis after one season on the basketball roster.
After joining the basketball team in October to serve as a practice body, the 6-foot-9 forward ultimately appeared in two games on the year, taking just one shot against Eastern Kentucky.
“Like so many others in the state of Kentucky, basketball has been a part of my life since I was just a kid,” Jordan said in a statement after joining the basketball team last fall.
