LEXINGTON — It's January 2017, and top-100 recruit Lynn Bowden has just committed to Kentucky football.
Ohio recruiting analyst Bill Bank Greene has seen Bowden as much as any pundit. By now, he has grown accustomed to watching the elite athlete carve through opposing defenses while playing quarterback for Warren G. Harding High School.
“This year in Ohio every team geared their defense toward him every week,” Green told The Courier Journal shortly after the commitment. “He was the only guy you had to stop — and he was the quarterback so you knew where he was going to be — and he still put up 300 yards and four or five touchdowns every week, against really good competition too.
