In an article published on Rivals.com, Allen said that he expected 2020 four-star athlete and Bowling Green, KY product Vito Tisdale to join him in Lexington.
“Justin Rogers was the guy, and now I’m working on keeping the in-state guys home,” Allen said. “Vito [Tisdale], Octavius Oxendine, Izayah Cummings. It’s super important to keep those guys in the state.”
Tisdale is listed as Rivals’ No. 61 overall prospect in the class of 2020, 247Sports’ No. 148 prospect, and ESPN’s No. 282 prospect overall.
In an interview with Josh Edwards of 247Sports, Tisdale said that if he was making a decision several years ago, staying in-state and playing at Kentucky would have never crossed his mind.
