Not only did Jamin Davis secure his first career interception on Sunday, but he did so in dramatic fashion.
The Commanders were up one score late in the fourth quarter with the Falcons driving in Washington territory. Davis got matched up in one-on-one coverage against Bijan Robinson, the best rookie running back in the NFL. Thinking he could exploit a perceived mismatch, Atlanta quarterback Desmond Ridder threw it to Robinson’s direction, but Davis stepped in front of the pass and came up with the clutch pick.
The interception sealed the win for the Commanders, which now sit at 3-3 on the year.
