It was a light slate for former Kentucky players in the NBA on Friday. Only six guys had teams playing, but unfortunately, three of them sat out due to some kind of ailment. Devin Booker and Jamal Murray both sat out with ankle injuries in the ESPN primetime game featuring the Suns and the Nuggets, and Tyrese Maxey came down with an illness that kept him sidelined. Thankfully, Julius Randle took up the mantle of BBNBA stud for the evening.
Randle finished one assist shy of a triple-double in the New York Knicks’ 119-106 win over the Toronto Raptors.
