After sitting out for the previous five games due to an ankle sprain, De’Aaron Fox came back triumphantly, finishing with 28 points and six rebounds against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night in a 132-120 win for the Sacramento Kings. Over the weekend it was unclear if the Kings’ All-Star point guard would be available against the Cavs, but he was seen participating fully in the shoot-around before the matchup.
Just 11 seconds into the game, Fox got the first bucket for Sacramento to get things rolling. Although he fell into a cold spell in the second quarter, Fox came out of the locker room in the third and had eight points to place his team in a comfortable position heading into the final 12 minutes of play.
