While there’s still a final cut to be made, Team USA is now down to 17 players.
Of those 17, De’Aaron Fox will be the only one representing the University of Kentucky. This was after former teammate Bam Adebayo, who took the invitation to train in Las Vegas, was cut.
The team plans to take 15 players to Australia and then only have a roster of 12 for the tournament. That said, here’s the 17 finalists:
I’d personally say there’s about 10 locks on this team, including De’Aaron Fox, who has ascended to become of the NBA’s best young point guard.
