LEXINGTON, Ky. – Jared Casey should be enjoying his last weeks of high school and counting down the days to the Ballard prom.

Instead he’s learning firsthand what it is like to go up against a Southeastern Conference offensive line as a midyear enrollee for the Kentucky football team.

“Everything is just faster, more physical,” Casey said. “Every day after practice I’m beat up.”

Casey, a four-star outside linebacker who flipped from Oregon to Kentucky as a recruit, will finish his first set of spring practices in college with Friday’s Blue-White scrimmage.
