It’s Tuesday in Kentucky, but National Signing Day in Australia.
Wilson Berry, a punter from Australia, has become the first player signed to Kentucky’s 2020-21 recruiting class, as it is already Wednesday down under. Berry is a former Rugby player and is rated as a three-star recruit, according to 247 Sports. His older brother is Jordan Berry of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Berry, who originally committed to the Wildcats back in June, comes from the same program that Max Duffy trained at in Australia, Prokick Australia of Melbourne.
At 22 years old, Berry will have four years of college eligibility left.
