Kentucky football (3-3) losses its third SEC game of the season to Vanderbilt (4-2) by a score of 20-13 at Kroger Field.
Heading into the match-up both teams were coming off historic wins, Kentucky claiming a top-10 road win over No. 6 Ole Miss before the bye and Vanderbilt taking down N0.1 Alabama at home just a week ago.
Kentucky received the opening kick but was unable to march down the field as penalties halted any momentum the offense was building leading to a 41-yard punt to pin the Commodores inside their own five.
Vanderbilt made the most of its first possession, first on the ground with a 31-yard run courtesy of quarterback Diego Pavia who later found running back AJ Newberry in the endzone on a 20-yard touchdown throw.
