Back-to-back 3-pointers by Davion Mintz put Kentucky ahead with under a minute to go in the first half, but Louisville responded at the horn to regain the lead going into the locker room, 28-27. Outside shooting was a big issue until Mintz’s consecutive makes; until then, UK was 1-of-8 from beyond the arc in the half. However, the Cats controlled the glass for 20 minutes and everyone is safe from foul trouble at halftime, and it’s anyone’s game in the Yum Center.
