No. 6 Kentucky men’s basketball suffered its third defeat of the season against Texas A&M in overtime inside Reed Arena in College Station, Texas, on Saturday.
Antonio Reeves led the Cats in scoring while D.J. Wagner followed close behind with 22 and 18 points on the day respectively, but despite the efforts the Cats fell 97-92.
The Wildcats entered the game 2-0 in conference play with a six-game winning streak, most recently defeating Missouri 90-77 inside Rupp Arena in their SEC home opener.
Looking to continue their winning streak, the Cats rolled out a familiar starting lineup of Justin Edwards, Reeves, Wagner, Aaron Bradshaw and Tre Mitchell.
