Tomorrow afternoon, Terry Wilson will be leading his team out of the tunnel and getting set under center as Kentucky’s starting quarterback. After transferring out of Oregon, playing a year at junior college, and trekking across the country to Lexington to finally start his football career as a Division 1 athlete, it’s the moment he’s been dreaming of for quite some time.
It hasn’t been easy to reach this point, but in his mind, it’s been worth it.
“When I had those six months in JUCO, I just had to keep in my mind to have a chip on my shoulder wherever I land at,” Wilson told the Kentucky media last week.
