A judge issued a warrant for Walter McCarty’s arrest this morning after the former Evansville head coach missed a court appearance.
According to the Courier & Press:
McCarty did not appear for his 8:45 a.m. Thursday hearing in the Vanderburgh Superior Court despite being issued a show cause order because he had also skipped an Aug. 20 hearing.
The warrant directs any other police agency in the state to bring McCarty before the court. He may be arrested in plain sight and if arrested, he will be booked and held in jail in lieu of a $500 cash bond or until he is taken to court.
