The Arizona Wildcats, including Jemarl Baker, will not participate in the 2021 NCAA Tournament. The school just announced it is imposing a one-year postseason ban following the NCAA’s investigation into its involvement in the college hoops bribery scandal. In October, Arizona received its Notice of Allegations, which included five Level I violations, one against the athletic department for lack of institutional control and one against Sean Miller for a lack of head coach control.
“The decision is an acknowledgement that the NCAA’s investigation revealed that certain former members of the MBB staff displayed serious lapses in judgment and a departure from the University’s expectation of honest and ethical behavior,” the statement from Arizona reads, via Tuscson.
