In an unexpected move, the Phoenix Suns are waiving shooting guard Archie Goodwin, according to Yahoo Sports’ Shams Charania.

Goodwin was not thought to be on the roster bubble in Phoenix, even though they have a loaded backcourt that featured five former Kentucky Wildcats. Goodwin was expected to be part of the team with Tyler Ulis, Devin Booker, Brandon Knight, and Eric Bledsoe.
