The SEC announced its players on the week for Week 8, and once again, Kentucky gets a player on the list.
George Asafo-Adjei was named the SEC offensive lineman of the week after his outstanding performance against Vanderbilt. This is the second time this season that George has been named the lineman of the week and his stats show why.
Against the Commodores he had 23 blocks at the point of attack with 3 knockdown blocks and he also didn’t make a single mistake all night. He graded out at a 89% for the week, played every offensive snap, didn’t allow any sacks or QB pressures and made Benny Snell’s life a lot easier.
