in a last minute switcheroo, brother Andrew worked out instead. When a reporter told him about the mix-up afterwards, Andrew played coy, grinning at reporters.
“Really?” he said. “I had no idea.”
It turns out Aaron is in Los Angeles to work out for the Lakers, but Andrew made the most of his opportunity with the Hornets. According to the Sporting News’ Max Bultman, Andrew impressed during the workout, going 14-27 from behind the three-point line. Andrew also worked out for the Knicks on Friday. On KSR this morning, UK assistant coach Tony Barbee said Andrew is UK’s best under-the-radar prospect:
“I’ll tell you who will be a fantastic pro is Andrew,” Barbee said.
