It’s no secret the 2014-15 Kentucky basketball team was elite top-to-bottom, undisputedly one of the best groups in college basketball history. They were historic. Downright filthy.
Throughout the course of their 31-0 undefeated season, the Wildcats not only defeated teams, they sent them crying home to their mothers. In ten of the team’s regular season victories, Kentucky won by over 30 points. Six of those victories resulted in wins of 39 or more.
Just three games into the season, the Cats managed a 32-point beatdown in the Champions Classic against No. 5 Kansas, turning a 10-point lead at halftime into a 72-40 victory.
