On Friday, a police report was filed by DeMarcus Cousins’ ex-girlfriend and mother of his 7-year-old son after she claims Cousins threatened to “put a bullet in your (expletive) head.”
Cousins’ ex-girlfriend was the one who recorded the conversation and TMZ released the footage on Tuesday.
Now, A.J Perez of USA Today reports that a warrant has been issued for the arrest of Cousins on a misdemeanor domestic violence charge.
“Mobile police spokesperson Charlette M. Solis told USA TODAY Sports on Thursday that ‘an arrest warrant has been issued.’ The third-degree harassing communications charge was listed on the Mobile municipal court website, although no other information was provided.
