Two NBA G League players were racially profiled and unfairly kicked off a plane on Christmas Eve, according to a report by The Undefeated.
Memphis Hustle guard Marquis Teague and forward Trahson Burrell were asked to leave the American Airlines flight they were on from Dallas to Sioux Falls, S.D. after a dispute with an airline employee over the blankets the two players had acquired from first-class passengers, according to the report.
The blankets were given to the players as a gesture from two other passengers as they headed for their coach seats, The Undefeated reported.
