Everyone knew Kentucky was in for a battle against the Houston Cougars.
Little did we know it would come down to the final seconds before the Wildcats would escape by the skin of their teeth.
After leading by double digits early in the second half, Kentucky’s offense went ice cold, and that allowed Houston to rally and tie things up with four minutes left.
The two teams would trade blows over the final minutes, but it was the veteran Cougars who held a three-point lead with a minute left over the young Wildcats, who seemingly had let their season slip away.
