Alex Poythress has Always Been Resilient, just Ask his Mother

The BBN collectively held their breath when Alex Poythress hit the deck during last night’s Blue-White game. Back in action in front of a crowd for the first time since his 2014-15 season ended with an ACL injury, the only thought through many people’s minds was “Get Up.”

He got up without pause. It will happen many more times this year, but his Mother does not worry. He’s been knocked down many times before, but finds a way to get back. Regina Poythress shared a little-known story of Alex’s first scare with Cameron Mills Radio.

According to Regina, a knock on the door summoned her back to the party the 6 year old twins Alex and Alexis were attending.
