Many, many, many years ago, long before you or I were even born, an evil sorceress descended upon Lexington with a magic wand and cruel intentions. Wearing a long black cloak with a hood that covered most of her scarred and disfigured face, she walked onto the University of Kentucky campus and placed a dark spell upon its basketball program, leaving it forever cursed.
“Some random guy nobody has ever heard of will hit every shot he takes against Kentucky,” she said as she looked toward the sky, both arms raised as if she was lifting this curse into existence.
