LEXINGTON, Ky. – It’s a good thing there is no replay review in the Kentucky football Blue-White scrimmage.
Otherwise, one of the most encouraging moments in the latest edition of the Wildcats’ annual spring game might not have counted.
Long after most of the starters had checked out of the game for the final time, redshirt freshman quarterback Walker Wood dropped back for what appeared to be an insignificant play populated by walk-ons and underclassmen unlikely to play a significant role when the games count for real in the fall.
