After the first twenty minutes of play, Kentucky is up by three, thanks in large part to Jamal Murray. Murray scored 21 of UK’s 39 points in the first half, the most first-half points by any player in the John Calipari era.
How good was Murray’s first half? He was 8-11 from the floor and 4-5 from the three-point line. He also pulled down a team-high six rebounds.
Most importantly, he debuted this new move after threes: the bow and arrow, which is coming soon to a March Madness promo near you.
So, if the NCAA Tournament is “The Hunger Games,” that means Jamal Murray is Katniss Everdeen, right?
