Belmont guard and Kentucky native Adam Kunkel officially announced his transfer destination today, and the next time he plays college basketball it will be for the Xavier Musketeers, per 247 Sports.
Kunkel led the Belmont Bruins in scoring as a sophomore with 16.5 points per game and shot 39% from behind the three-point line. He is leaving Belmont for a bigger stage in hopes of playing high-level college basketballs and propelling that to a professional career.
While many look at the 6-3 guard as just a shooter, he showed like season that he can certainly score in a variety of ways.
