Former Kentucky Wildcats guard Aaron Harrison will play for the Charlotte Hornets in this year’s NBA Summer League. The Hornets made an announcement yesterday and Harrison’s alma mater offered its congratulations on Twitter today.

This means that Harrison will have the opportunity to earn an NBA roster spot despite going unselected in last week’s NBA Draft. His twin brother Andrew was picked 44th overall by the Phoenix Suns before having his rights traded to the Memphis Grizzlies.
