Almost a decade after eliminating one team after another from the NCAA Tournament, Aaron Harrison still has ice in his veins.
The former Kentucky Wildcat is spending his summer hooping in his home state of Texas. Playing in Houston’s No Excuses Pro League, The Defenders needed a bucket for a berth in the semifinals. Harrison has happy to provide it, stepping right across the half court line and burying a deep three as the final horn sounded to secure the win.
Harrison followed up that game-winning shot by scoring 32 points, dishing out five assists and grabbing six rebounds in a game one loss of the best-of-three semifinals.
