I am sad for all the players, coaches, support staff, cheerleaders, band members, and fans that the Sweet 16 has been postponed. I am also sad for the local businesses that are impacted and all the workers that will lose out on much needed income. There is still a chance that it can be played later in the spring, but with the way things are going I’m assuming that it will not take place. The Sweet 16 is special to a lot of people in this state. I have been covering boy’s high school basketball this season and I was looking forward to bringing everyone coverage of the Whitaker Bank/KHSAA Boys’ Sweet 16.
