NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Beating a team as bad as the 2019 Vanderbilt Commodores will not define a program.
It will not impress many recruits. It will not earn your head coach more interest from powerhouse programs like Florida State. It will not erase the disappointment of heartbreaking losses earlier in the season.
But any time a team dominates its way to 401 rushing yards and five straight touchdown drives of at least 72 yards while holding its opponent to fewer than 200 total yards, the moment is worth cherishing.
