It’s a big Kentucky football recruiting weekend, both figuratively and literally.
Mark Stoops is hosting a plethora of official visitors this weekend. The biggest player on campus is also one of the the highest-ranked recruits to ever officially visit Kentucky’s campus.
Offensive guard Justin Rogers is ranked by Rivals as the No. 10 player in America. The last five-star prospect to officially visit Kentucky was Micah Johnson, ESPN’s ninth-ranked player in the 2006 recruiting class. Unlike Johnson, Rogers is an out-of-state prospect from the Detroit suburb of Oak Park. Stoops used the opportunity to play defense to convince the top-ranked player from Michigan in 2018 to come to UK.
