LEXINGTON – After producing just four NFL draft picks in the first five years of the Mark Stoops era, Kentucky football has produced seven picks in the last two years.
Two UK players, Lynn Bowden and Logan Stenberg, were drafted this weekend. More than twice that many could be selected in 2021 thanks to a strong senior class.
The draft class could grow even more if an underclassman like offensive lineman Darrian Kinnard leaves school early. Those decisions will largely depend on how the 2020 season goes and when it is played.
We know the UK seniors who will be in the draft class next year.
