Historic touchdown at Tennessee
Schnellenberger was twice named All-Southeastern Conference while playing for Kentucky and was named a first-team All-American as a senior, but his most memorable moment came in the Wildcats’ first win at Tennessee since 1924 on Nov. 20, 1954.
Trailing 13-7 with 3:20 left in the game, Schnellenberger caught a touchdown pass from quarterback Bob Hardy.
