The Kentucky Wildcats were back in Lexington for their home opener as they took on the Eastern Kentucky Colonels.

The Cats didn’t have a hangover after taking down the #1 team on Tuesday. Once again, they put on a very good defensive performance.

It was a hot start for Kentucky ,as they jumped out the quick 12-0 lead at the first media timeout.

A very balanced scoring attack for the Cats helped them take a 21-5 lead with just under 10 minutes remaining.
